How Jalen Williams has handled latest lengthy absence: 'He's the man.'

At this point, Jalen Williams is probably sick of wearing extravagant fits on the bench. The 24-year-old has seen his promising career derailed this season with an injury-plagued year. While some of it was at the cost of an NBA championship, most of it has been downright bad luck.

Williams has played in just 26 games this season. He missed the first month of the regular season recovering from wrist surgery to repair torn ligaments he played through in their playoff run last year. But his latest strings of absences can be attributed to a pair of hamstring strains.

It's been over a month since Williams has suited up. He's missed 13 in a row. Despite all of that, Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault has been impressed with his attitude.

The All-NBA player has been around the team as he rehabs in the background. "He's the man. You got a great group of guys that root for each other's success.
