So far this offseason, the Denver Broncos have been frustrating their fans due to one major reason: they have not signed or traded for any outside help.
Through the first week of free agency, all the Broncos have done is bring back their own. Every player who touched the ball on offense last season is back under contract for 2026. However, the team still needs more playmaking, and a tight end is one area to address.
The Athletic's Nick Kosmider linked the Broncos to one such playmaker, in the Philadelphia Eagles ' beloved tight end Dallas Goedert, who's set to be a free agent once his contract void date hits. He would be, as Kosmider noted, an interesting free agent target. Broncos linked to Dallas Goedert as interesting FA target "Among the names that could be interesting for the Broncos are tight ends Dallas Goedert and David Njoku and wide receiver Jauan Jennings," Kosmider writes.
Goedert is 31 years old and coming off a strong year for the Eagles as a touchdown machine for the struggling offense. Last season, he caught 60 passes for only 591 yards, but he had 11 touchdowns in his eighth year in the NFL. Since being drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Goedert has been a great receiving threat for the Eagles.
