After leading the program to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, a run to the NIT semifinals in 2022, and securing some Atlantic 10 silverware in the process, the winningest coach in program history will walk away following 19 years at the helm.
Even heading into retirement, it’s not lost on Schmidt how special this St. Bonaventure community is. How much the Bonnie fans have played into all that success over the last 19 years at the Reilly Center.
