The Boston Red Sox made an interesting bullpen addition on Thursday Boston announced the signing of left-hander Danny Coulombe, who was surprisingly still a free agent.
The Red Sox gave him a major league deal, as he will be in Bostonโs bullpen this season. Although Coulombe signed late, he figures to be an impact reliever for the team, and Red Sox manager Alex Cora is ecstatic that Craig Breslow and the front office were able to sign him. โThe kitchen sink,โ Cora said about Coulombe, via BostonGlobe.
