The Sooners are currently an NCAA tournament bubble team after winning eight of their last 11 games and advancing to the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament before Friday’s loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Denny reportedly decided to bring back Moser before the Sooners’ run in the SEC tournament.
The Sooners had a slow start in conference play, losing nine straight league games at one point during the season. Moser’s Sooners made the NCAA tournament last season before falling in the Round of 64 to UConn. That was Moser’s only tournament appearance with the Sooners.
He also made it to the second round of the NIT with Oklahoma in 2021. Last season, Oklahoma was led by freshman guard Jeremiah Fears. Fears entered the season as a consensus four-star recruit, and his performance at Oklahoma led the New Orleans Pelicans to select seventh overall in the NBA Draft.
