Rutgers gymnastics delivered its strongest performances of the season on Friday night, setting a program record on floor exercise during the Rutgers Quad at Jersey Mike’s Arena. The Scarlet Knights posted a 49. 475 on floor, breaking the previous school record of 49.
425 set in 2023. The historic rotation helped Rutgers finish with a season-high team score of 196. 550, the third-highest overall score in program history.
Graduate student Gabrielle Dildy led the Scarlet Knights with an outstanding all-around performance, posting a career-best 39. 525. Dildy matched her career high on vault with a 9.
900 and delivered a standout 9. 950 on floor, one of the top scores of the night and a key routine in the record-breaking rotation. Rutgers’ floor lineup was dominant throughout the rotation, posting a string of high scores that pushed the team past the program record.
