A Bengals fan used a flamethrower to take out his frustration on a Trey Hendrickson jersey after the DE signed with Baltimore. Watch a video here.

A New Richmond man found out that Trey Hendrickson signed with a major Bengals rival this week and came up with a unique way to dispose of his jersey. When news broke March 11 that the edge rusher was leaving for the Baltimore Ravens after five seasons in Cincinnati, Michelle Lynne Foerster called her husband and joked that they’d burn his Hendrickson jersey. Roger Boehm took his wife's advice to heart and once he returned home from work, he burned Hendrickson’s jersey to ash − with a flamethrower.

Foerster recorded it to show it to their kids who weren’t home at the time. “After last season, I just decided that it was probably a good idea to do it and we were gonna make a video. So I got home and we actually burned the jersey,” said the 43-year-old Boehm.

“I like to use the flamethrower any chance I can and the neighbors probably wouldn’t like me doing it on a normal day. " This was only the second time he’s used the tool typically used for agriculture or military applications . There are no federal laws that regulate flamethrowers as they are not recognized as weapons under the National Firearms Act.

“It was raining outside so it was safe. There was no chance of creating a dangerous fire situation," he said. Foerster posted the video in the Who Dey Nation Facebook Group and got mostly positive comments.
