Though the offensive line is almost complete, they still need to find their starting left tackle within the next month or so. Despite there being some stopgap-type players who could potentially start at left tackle in free agency , like Trey Pipkins III or Braxton Jones , it’s probably best to find their starter in the 2026 NFL Draft. Though they could definitely take Georgia’s Monroe Freeling at No.
6 overall, the Browns could choose to take a wide receiver like Carnell Tate at that spot. If this ends up being the case, then Utah’s Caleb Lomu could be the next best option as a true left tackle candidate for Cleveland. No doubt who the Falcons are seeing today at Texas Tech-Utah.
