HUTCHINSON — It’s the final day of high school basketball in Kansas. State Championship trophies will be lifted and there are some great matchups in the Sunflower State. The girls Class 4A State Championship game will pit No.
4 Hayden (21-6) against No. 6 Bishop Miege (19-8) at the Hutchinson Sports Arena on Saturday, March 14. The Wildcats earned a massive comeback win over defending champions Wellington in the semifinals.
Bishop Miege dominated Rock Creek from the start to secure a spot in the title game, too. Hayden is looking for its first state championship title since 2004. This is the ninth appearance for the Wildcats in the title game.
