Gavi’s been with the squad for a little while now, travelling to Newcastle in midweek with the squad for their Champions League tie, and have now been given clearance to resume action.

The 21-year-old has not played since August after suffering another knee injury which subsequently required surgery and saw him sidelined for a long spell once again. However, he’s now back and will be able to play a part in the final few months of the season. Our No.

Yet there’s no doubt that Barcelona will be cautious with the midfielder after such a long spell out and due to his recent injury history. Welcome back, Gavi!
