The No. 5-seed Wisconsin Badgers punched their ticket to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals after a 91-88 overtime victory against No. 4 Illinois.

Extra time was once again required as these two teams battled tooth and nail for 45 minutes. To no surprise, John Blackwell and Nick Boyd proved to be the difference . Wisconsin shot 25-30 from the line, which helped get the job done.

Illinois missed a few major free throws down the stretch, though it's worth noting the Badgers did have a chance to win it at the end of regulation. Either way, they prevailed in overtime, replicating their February 10th victory over the Fighting Illini. The Badgers' dynamic duo somehow kept its hot streak alive, as Nick Boyd led the team with 38 points.

Blackwell, who missed a potential game-winner at the end of the second half, wasn't too far behind with 31. Greg Gard showed just how much he trusts his junior guard, as Blackwell was in a large portion of the end of this game with four fouls. Bench points kept Illinois in the fight as their second leading scorer was Andrej Stojakovic, who didn't start this game.
