Rather than give up the two first-round picks and $30 million per year to acquire Crosby, they could acquire Hendrickson for roughly the same amount of money and no draft capital. Hendrickson, though, has his own injury issues after undergoing core muscle surgery in the offseason. He is an elite pass rusher, but he is not nearly as dominant against the run as Crosby.

He’s also 1. 5 years older. Obviously, it would have been ideal to supercharge the Ravens pass rush with both Crosby and Hendrickson, which apparently seemed to be DeCosta’s plan at one point.
