Norway's Johannes Hosflot Klaebo crosses the finish line to win the Men's 10 km Interval Start Classic Style Cross-Country Skiing competition at the FIS Nordic World Cup in Lahti. Emmi Korhonen/Lehtikuva/dpa Winter Olympics champion Johannes Høsflot Klæbo suffered a concussion after falling at the Drammen World Cup sprint semi-finals in his native Norway. "Took a fall yesterday and hit my head pretty hard, but luckily everything is all good in the hood," the 29-year-old cross-country skier wrote in an Instagram post on Friday.

"Ended up with a concussion so I’ll take some days off from both training and the internet just to make sure everything settles properly. " He fell after US skier Ben Ogden crashed in front of him during the race on Thursday. Klæbo was taken to hospital for examinations.

The sporting icon, who won all six golds on offer at Milan/Cortina last month to become the best Winter Olympian of all-time, has already wrapped up a sixth overall World Cup title and easily won his quarter-final.
