This year's nominees are from Marist Catholic, North Eugene, Sheldon, Springfield, South Eugene and Thurston.

It was a banner year for swimmers throughout the Eugene-Springfield area. The 2025-26 OSAA swimming season has come to a close, and numerous local athletes earned podium finishes at the year-end state championships. Thurston's boys won the first state title in program history after surging to the Class 5A state championship.

South Eugene took second at the 6A state meet, matching its best finish since 2009. Here are the nominees for the 2025-26 Register-Guard boys swimmer of the year.
