Vote! Who should be Register-Guard girls swimmer of the year?

It was a banner year for high school swimmers throughout the Eugene-Springfield area. The 2025-26 OSAA swimming season has come to a close, and numerous local athletes earned podium finishes at the year-end state championships. The Thurston, Cottage Grove and Marist Catholic girls all notched top-10 team finishes in their respective divisions, while South Eugene won the Southwest Conference district title in dominant fashion.

Here are the nominees for the 2025-26 Register-Guard girls swimmer of the year. The poll closes at noon Sunday, March 15.
